About Piera
Piera is a Hong Kong native who has lived in six cities on two continents. Her early life was peppered with trips to visit relatives in Taiwan and China, and then to Southeast Asia where her father was working. But it was during her first trip to Europe that dawn broke. She remembers being fresh off a flight in Rome, looking around and thinking, "I want to be doing this everyday." The Pomona College-graduate has authored over a dozen travel guides on Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, and China, and currently divides her time among Vancouver, Taiwan and her hometown.
